Hospitality veteran brings more than 26 years of luxury hospitality and private club leadership experience to Saltleaf on Estero Bay.
BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. ─ London Bay Development Group has appointed Karl Bublitz as Director of Hospitality and Amenity Operations at Saltleaf on Estero Bay, bringing more than 26 years of luxury hospitality and private club leadership experience to the growing coastal community. In his new role, Bublitz will oversee hospitality and amenity operations at Saltleaf, currently encompassing Saltleaf Marina and Saltleaf Golf Preserve, while serving as a community liaison for The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay and Acqua Bistecca.
Bublitz joins London Bay following a career defined by operational excellence, team development and creating highly personalized guest and member experiences. A PGA of America Professional for more than 30 years, he spent over 16 years as Director of Golf at Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, where his leadership extended well beyond golf operations to encompass member engagement, programming and the development of service-driven cultures. Most recently, he was involved in the development and planning of the Collier Rod & Gun Club, further expanding his experience in the planning and creation of luxury hospitality environments.
“Karl brings an exceptional depth of knowledge and a genuine understanding of what it takes to create memorable experiences across a variety of hospitality environments,” said Craig Klingensmith, Vice President of Development at London Bay. “As Saltleaf continues to evolve, his leadership will be instrumental in bringing the vision for its amenities and experiences to life.”
Originally from Michigan, Bublitz has called South Florida home since 1998 and has deep roots in the Southwest Florida community. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation for developing strong teams, mentoring hospitality professionals and fostering cultures centered on genuine relationships and thoughtful service.
“I’m excited to join London Bay at such an important time for Saltleaf,” said Bublitz. “The vision for this community brings together so many elements of the Southwest Florida lifestyle, and I look forward to helping create the level of service, connection and hospitality that makes each experience feel truly exceptional.”
Situated along Estero Bay in Bonita Springs, Saltleaf on Estero Bay is a 500-acre coastal community designed around an elevated waterfront lifestyle. The community brings together residential, recreational, dining and boating experiences, with additional amenities planned as the community continues to grow. Currently, Saltleaf Marina provides direct access to Estero Bay and the Gulf, while Saltleaf Golf Preserve offers two distinct golf experiences: The Preserve, an 18-hole course designed by Raymond Floyd, and The Leaf, a nine-hole, par-3 walking course.
Saltleaf is also home to The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Estero Bay, featuring 224 luxury residences across two towers, and Acqua Bistecca, a waterfront Italian-inspired restaurant from Michelin-starred chef and restaurateur Michael Mina.
With Bublitz at the helm of hospitality and amenity operations, London Bay continues to build on Saltleaf’s vision for a connected coastal community where exceptional amenities, personalized service and the Southwest Florida lifestyle come together. Learn more at Saltleaf.com.
